For more than 80 years, Guideposts has helped people discover the hope that only God provides. What began as a single magazine founded by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale and Ruth Stafford Peale in 1945 has grown into a ministry that meets people wherever they are with encouragement and prayer.

Through books, products, programs and more, we annually help 6.5 million people find strength in Christ and comfort in connection. Our long history of outreach partnership has made us a vital source of inspiration for veterans, caregivers, people in recovery, and more. We have a bold vision to reach 17 million people (5% of the U.S. population) by 2031. Together with our customers, outreach partners, and donors, we can make a positive change in the world— one story, one prayer, one life at a time.
